Fees for psychological services at Dandelion are determined by the average rate in the Denver Metro area and each clinician's level of training and years of experience. A full time clinician typically serves 20 clients per week. The hourly rate includes the time the therapist spends on the phone with clients or collaterals, session preparation, record keeping, and billing.

Dr. Peters' private pay rate for therapy, testing, and consultation is $150.00 per hour. The rate for expert testimony and court related services is $200 per hour. Student therapists provide therapy and testing services for $80 per hour. Fees can be negotiated for clients in need.

Psychological evaluation fees vary depending on the nature of the assessment question, the number of batteries administered, and the number of hours spent with the client as well as scoring measures and writing the evaluation report. Generally, fees for testing range from $500 to $2500. We do not bill insurance for testing services. We require a $500 deposit upon presentation for testing.

Credit cards, cash, and checks are acceptable methods of payment. Payment is expected at the time of service.

Dandelion serves clients with Crime Victims Compensation approval from Jefferson, Denver, Broomfield, Arapahoe, Adams, and Larimer Counties. We do not bill insurance directly but we are happy to provide receipts for you to seek out of network reimbursement from your insurance company. Bring your insurance card to your appointments and be sure to keep us apprised of any changes in your insurance plan.

 As a result of the No Surprises Act, clients are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of the costs for services if they are self pay or not using health insurance. We will provide the GFE to you upon scheduling a service or at your request.

Please note that we do not take Medicaid and we are unable to charge out of pocket if the client is covered under a Medicaid related program.
